The rules of using VisNavigans.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the VisNavigans platform, including the website at visnavigans.com, any affiliated applications, and any services, features, or content we make available (collectively, the "Service"). VisNavigans, Inc. ("VisNavigans", "we", "us") is a company incorporated in the State of New York, United States.
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. By registering, you represent that you are of legal age and have the capacity to enter into a binding contract.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at info@visnavigans.com of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
VisNavigans provides a marketplace and workflow platform through which mentors (independent professionals, consultants, and educators) can offer sessions, courses, bootcamps, course bundles, and downloadable resources ("Offerings"), and through which mentees (individual learners or members of organizational accounts) can discover and purchase those Offerings.
VisNavigans facilitates the connection, scheduling, communication, and payment processing. We do not deliver mentorship services ourselves and are not a party to the professional relationship between a mentor and a mentee.
Mentors on the Service are independent professionals. Any opinion, advice, or recommendation provided by a mentor is their own and does not constitute advice, endorsement, or a professional opinion of VisNavigans. In particular, nothing on the Service constitutes medical, legal, financial, or regulated professional advice unless explicitly stated and appropriately licensed in your jurisdiction.
Purchases are processed by Stripe, Inc. or another payment processor we designate. By making a purchase you authorize us (and our processor) to charge your chosen payment method. All prices are listed in the currency shown at checkout.
Mentor payouts are handled through Stripe Connect. VisNavigans retains a platform fee (currently 20% of gross sales for most product types) and remits the balance to the mentor per our payout schedule.
Refund eligibility depends on the product type and is governed by our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Mentors retain ownership of content they upload. By uploading content, mentors grant VisNavigans a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, transmit, and display that content solely for the purpose of operating the Service and delivering it to purchasers. Mentees receive a personal, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access purchased content for their own learning. Resale or redistribution of mentor content is prohibited.

The Service, including all software, design, and branding, is the property of VisNavigans and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any VisNavigans intellectual property to you.
The Service integrates with third-party tools (including Stripe for payments, Zoom for video, Bunny.net for media delivery, and Google Workspace for email). Your use of those services is also governed by their respective terms. We are not responsible for third-party service availability or actions.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VisNavigans, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or USD $100, whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify and hold VisNavigans harmless from any claim, damage, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
You may terminate your account at any time from your account settings or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms, for legal or regulatory reasons, or if continued access would harm other users or the Service.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
