Can't find my purchased course

You paid for a course but can't see it in "My Courses". Before panicking, run through this checklist — 99% of the time it's one of five things.

Checklist — in order of probability

1. You're logged in with a different email

Common if you have multiple email addresses (work vs personal). Log out, log back in with the email you used at checkout. Check your purchase confirmation email — that's the one the account is tied to.

2. The payment is still processing

If you just paid, the purchase can take up to a minute to appear. Refresh My Courses once a minute for 5 minutes.

3. The payment actually failed

Your card was charged but Stripe marked the transaction as pending/risky/disputed. Check your Purchase History — if the transaction isn't there, the payment didn't go through on our end.

  • Check your card statement: was it actually charged, or just an authorization hold?
  • Authorization holds typically drop off in 5–7 business days if the charge didn't complete.
  • If your card was actually charged but we don't see it, open a support ticket with the bank-side charge reference.

4. The purchase was refunded

If you (or someone) refunded the purchase, access is revoked. Check Purchase History — refunded items show status "Refunded".

5. You paid someone else's account (gift purchase)

If it was a gift purchase, the course lands in the recipient's account, not yours. The recipient needs to log in to see it.

Where to find My Courses

Click your avatar → My Courses, or go to /my-courses. It lists every course, bootcamp, and bundle you've bought or been enrolled in.

Filters on My Courses

Make sure no filter is hiding it:

  • The search box — clear it.
  • Category / status filters — set to "All".
  • Pagination — the course may be on page 2 if you have many.

Verify you actually bought it

  1. Go to Purchase History.
  2. Find the course title.
  3. Status should be "Completed".
  4. Download the invoice — lists the exact item purchased.

If the course isn't in your Purchase History at all, the purchase didn't happen. Check your card — probably you were looking at a quote or a preview, not a completed purchase.

Specific edge cases

Bundle courses don't all show up individually

When you buy a bundle, each included course shows as a separate tile in My Courses. If only some appear: the mentor may have been editing the bundle at purchase time. Open a support ticket with the bundle name and your order id — we can re-sync.

Bootcamp shows as "not started yet"

You're enrolled but the bootcamp hasn't started yet. The content becomes available at the bootcamp's start date. Check the bootcamp's main page for the exact start time.

Course access expired

Most courses are lifetime access, but some have expiry (e.g. 12 months). Once expired, the course leaves My Courses. Contact the mentor directly if you want an extension.

Opening a support ticket

If none of the above applies, open a ticket with:

  • The course title
  • The email you registered with
  • The transaction ID from your receipt (from Stripe email or Purchase History)
  • Approximate purchase date

We can usually resolve within a few hours.
