Enrolling in a self-paced course

Self-paced courses are pre-recorded video + text + quiz lessons you work through on your own schedule. No calendar, no appointments — just you and the material.

Finding a course

1. Click Browse → Courses in the top nav.
2. Filter by category, price, rating, or skill level.
3. Click any course card to open the course page.

What's on the course page

• Thumbnail / video preview — watch the free intro to get a sense of the mentor's style.
• Curriculum — full list of sections and lessons. Free preview lessons are marked; you can watch them without buying.
• What you'll learn — learning outcomes.
• Requirements — prerequisite knowledge or tools.
• Reviews — from mentees who completed the course.
• About the mentor — their profile + other courses.

Free vs paid

Some courses are free — click "Enroll" and you're in instantly. Paid courses show "Add to cart" or "Buy now". You can add multiple paid courses to the cart and check out together.

The purchase flow

1. Click Add to cart or Buy now.
2. From the cart, apply any coupon code you have.
3. Click Checkout. You'll be redirected to Stripe.
4. Enter card details. 3-D Secure (bank verification) may pop up — it's normal.
5. Redirected back to us — you're enrolled immediately.

Accessing your course

Go to Dashboard → My Courses. Click any course thumbnail to open the player.

Using the course player

• Left sidebar — curriculum with every section and lesson. Checkmarks appear as you complete lessons.
• Main area — the current lesson's video/text/quiz content.
• Comments at the bottom — ask the mentor questions or discuss with other students.
• Next/Previous buttons — move between lessons.
• Progress bar — at the top, shows how much of the course you've completed.

Completion and certificates

Mark each lesson complete (or let the system auto-mark when you watch to the end). When you reach 100%, a certificate may be available depending on the mentor's settings.

Comments and questions

Each lesson has a comment thread. Ask questions, share your work, discuss with classmates. The mentor is notified and usually responds within a day or two. See "Commenting on lessons" for etiquette and how replies/likes work.

Lifetime vs expiring access

Most courses are lifetime — once you buy, it's yours forever, no recurring fees. Some courses (especially bootcamps and bundles) have an expiry; you'll see the expiry date on your My Courses card if applicable.

Returning to a course later

The player remembers where you left off — you return to the same lesson and playback position. Your progress, comments, and quiz answers are all persisted.

Refunding a course

Courses are refundable within 7 days of purchase IF you've watched less than 20% of the total content. See "Refund policy" for the full rules.
